I’ll always value knowing how the Lord Jesus and Mary and the Spirit of God met Elizabeth so wonderfully on so many occasions through her life’s journey.
Reading and following her books—The Jewels of Darkness and Ransomed by Love—shows this and has impacted my life and faith journey too. The Lord Jesus, Mary and the Spirit of God are seen so clearly through her poetry and writing and illustrate Elizabeth’s wonderful honesty about her journey through life and her experience of God’s Love. This encourages us to see God’s love in our own lives as we journey forward after reading all she has experienced.
In Ransomed by Love – The Gift of Jesus, Mary Elizabeth shares her wonderment at and growing awareness of Jesus’ presence in her life. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Ransomed by Love and share the same thoughts as the author on the centrality of the Cross and Crucifixion to Christianity and how it transformed the world from a Pagan dystopia to one of Love and Truth which lasted for two thousand years.
I believe a revitalised Christianity will return again after the current madness has run its course. Rudyard Kipling expressed these sentiments so beautifully in his poem The Gods of the Copybook Headings.
The thoughts were conveyed so succinctly by the author that it was like reading a meditation. Highly recommended spiritual reading.
